Page 12A - THE CHARLOTTE POST - Thursday, May 26, 1988 Miss Zeta Amicae Pageant To Be Held In 1940 graduate chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority found the need to establish a support group. In April 1978 Zeta Ami cae was organized here in Char lotte by the Delta Zeta Chapter. Over the past ten years they have worked In areas of service such as, winterization of homes for the elderly, March of Dimes Healthy Baby Walk-A-Thon and Stock’s Nest, and the Salvation Army's Dress the Dolls Program. Zeta Amicae has also given fi nancial contributions to NAACP, Salvation Army, United Negro College Fund and Taps. On Sunday, May 29, Zeta Ami cae will award their first schol arship at the "Little Miss Zeta Amicae Pageant." The participants have been exposed to various educational and social activities such as; de veloping study skills, good grooming, substance abuse, skating party, pizza party and other activities. The contestants are Zondra Douglas, daughter of Ms. Velma Gibson; Ashley Holland daugh ter of Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Hol land; Crystal Davis, daughter of Mrs. Sally Davis; Leah Webb, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Hariy Webb; Kesha Givens, daughter of Ms. Pamela Coleman; Court ney Fulwood. daughter of Ms. Jeanette Fulwood; and Natasha Martin, daughter of Ms. Jacqu- Une Morrison. The pageant will take place at the Afro American Culture Cen ter at 4 p.m. The public is Invit ed to attend.
