FREDDIE JACKSON Just re
turned from a triumphant tour
In London, where he performed
four sold-out concerts at the
Hammersmith Odeon while cap
tivating the fastidious British
audience and critics. Freddie
who will be heading East to Ja
pan in October, will no doubt
conquer the Japanese hearts
before returning to the States to
embark on his USA tour in No
vember. Freddie's next single
"Hey Lover" produced by Capitol
artist Paul Laurence is already
exploding on the air waves and
is in the record stores.
MELBA MOORE Bl-coastal
travel has become a way of
life for Melba Moore. She’s been
flying across the country pro
moting her album "I'm In Love"
in the most unusual places—
t.v. game shows! Melba can be
seen on "Win. Lose, or Draw"
{airing Oct. 10-14th).
"Hollywood Squares" (airing Oct.
24-28th), and the new game
show "Sweethecuts" (check your
local listings) hosted by Charles
Nelson Riley. Melba's next sin
gle "Love & Kisses" produced by
Rahni Harris will be released on
October 17th.

released in October. LaBelle
fans will get a treat with the Sa
rah Dash/Pattl LaBelle duet of
the title cut "You're All 1 Need"
and the album also features a
duet with Ray. Goodman, and
Brown.

Go," which features the vocals of

Janice Dempsey, is presently on

currently in the studio worldng

Paul Laurence.
MIKI HOWARD is keeping
busy behind closed studio
doors working on her new album
with producers Larry Blackmon
and Nick Martlnelll. The word
on the album which will be re
leased early next year, is that it
is another Mlkl Howard slzzler.

King as the producers of Sweet
Stacy Lattisaw
Obsession's current single. Now
he's taking time to work on his
own album which should be
ready by early next year.
