Political Campaign Workshop"
on Friday, February 17, 7 p.m. at
McDonald's Best Western;
The IRS has about 50,000
churches on Its list to be audit
ed In 1989-90. A large percent
age of the churches are black
churches.
Dr. Corbin L. Cooper, tax ex
pert for the churches of the
Southern Baptist Convention in
Raleigh, will conduct the work
shop along with local tax ex
perts and lawyers.
The workshop is open to all
ministers, church clerks, secre
taries, treasurers and financial
staff. Seating will be given on a
first come bases. Refreshments
will be served.
