Renlta Weems, an^ instructor of
the Old Testament at Vanderbilt
University Divinity School In
Nashville. Tennessee. Rev.
Weems Is a graduate of Welles
ley College in Massachusetts
and Princeton Theological Sem
inary. She Is current^ complet
ing requirements for her Ph.D. In
Old Testament at Princeton.
In addition to being a profes
sor. scholar and radio commen
tator, Rev. Weems Is a fi^lance
writer. Her most recent book Is
Just A Sister Away. This book
sheds light on the relationships
of biblical women In ways that
connect women today.
A special "Evening with Renl
ta" will be held on F^ay, March
17 at 7 p.m. in the Friendship
Enrichment Center to discuss
her book.
