n Donald Alexander and his new wife Pam Jones (1) are on their way to Los Anfeles thanks to the Sprlte/WPEO Soul Train contest Donald won re cently. When he filled out the trip registration form he was Just passing the time away. Donald didn't really belleye he'd win. Tet, while he was at work at Presbyterian Hospital WPEG's Skip Mur phy was calling his name as the trip winner. At the time, Donald was a couple of weeks away from get ting married. Now he and his wife have an expense paid honeymoon. The happy couple are shown here with Terry Peterson, a representative from Coca-Cola, the makers of Sprite. Slug's Wine and Food Cellars and Slug's Univer sity Place will host an Interna tional Wine Festival Saturday, April 8, from 1-5 p.m, at Slug's University Place, Just off High way 29 at Harris Boulevard. This Is the third year that Slug Claiborne, owner of Slug's, has arranged the festival, from which profits will go to WFAE 90.7 FM. The festival offers connoisseur and novice alike the chance to expand their experience and knowledge of wines from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia and the United States. Guests at the festlvad will also have an opportunity to bid In am auction of rare wines and to en joy a once-ln-a-llfetlme taste of some exceptional vintages. Slug's will offer each guest an engrave wine glass and a per sonal wine Journal for recording their own preferences and com ments.
