A graduate of Knoxville Col lege, Dr. Jones received her de gree from the University of Ar kansas School of Medicine; and has been In private practice since 1962. In 1985, she was In stalled as the first woman presi dent of the National Medical As sociation. In addition to her many commitments and medi cal affiliations. Dr. Jones serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Knoxville College. Dr. Jones, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will address the "Status of Health for Blacks and Other Minorities."
