Day. Dr. Moses Javls of the
Dayspring Baptist Church of
Jacksonville, Florida will speak
at the morning worship service
at 10:30 a.m. and also at the
Sunday evening worship at 6
p.m.
The revival service will begin
at 7 p.m. on Monday night, Sep
tember 11th. Dr. Javls will be
the evangelist for the week.
Dr. Javls Is no stranger to the
Carollnas. He was born in Co
lumbia, S.C. and graduated from
the C.A Johnson High School In
1953. He attended Benedict Col
lege In Columbia, S.C. during his
freshman year and transferred
to Zion College In Chattanooga,
Tenn. where he received his B.S.
Degree. From there he entered
the J. J. Stark School of Theolo
gy, Benedict College, Columbia,
S.C.where he received his B.D.
Degree In 1961. In 1971 he re
ceived an honorary D.D. Degree
from the Birmingham Baptist
Bible College In Birmingham,
Alabama and the Honorary
L.L.D. Degree from Selma Uni
versity in Sehna, Alabama.
Dr. Javls Is married to the for
mer Edna Shack of Birming
ham, Alabama. They have two
sons, Cedric Douglas and Julian
Ra}mard and one daughter, Mel-

of Trinity Baptist Church of
Florence serving as guest
preacher. Dr. Diggs is the broth
er of Pastor H.S. Diggs of May-
field. He Is a native of Rock Hill,
S.C. where he completed his ele
mentary and high school educa
tion. He attended Morehouse
College where he received a
Bachelor's Degree In History. He
then entered Atlanta University
where he completed work and
received a Master of Arts Degree
In Sociology. He has also re
ceived a Master of Divinity De
gree and a Doctor of Ministry
Degree.
The public Is Invited to attend
