Little Remember that we we said in our last message that the greatest enemy of the Gospel is an individual on a religious profession without Christ. Well, this brother has accused me of hoarding money and stealing money. I did not ask him to teU me how he was liv ing. Years ago he heard some of my testimony, which I knew was giving him unshirted hell, and I praise God for it. A slan der will go around with a “muckrake” to gather all the slander he can find and then he goes and spreads the slander as if it were true. If anyone here gets saved he or she will have to come over the lies being hurled against the servant of the Lord. 'The Lord has given me grace to just leave this brother to his Hes and slander campaign. Anyone who wants to join his bandwagon of slan der is free to do so, but you will go down to HeU with him. An unsaved fellow always judges the other fellow by himself A bom-again believer will not fight another bom-again believer. This preacher is a total stranger to Holy Spirit Conviction (John 16:7-11). And let me say to every tried emd persecuted saint who is being slandered, you carmot convince the enemy you are irmocent of the slander he is hurling against you. Don't even try to answer or prove your irmocence before a slanderer. He is preju diced against you and if you had 500 witnesses he wouldn’t believe one of them. Jirst let him go on to Hell and lead his congregation to Hell. Satan is stepping up his attacks against the Lord’s people because he knows his time is short and the Lord is coming soon! Once a lie goes out against the Lord’s peo ple, it carmot be retrieved. When I was in the office sever al years ago, one of my employ ees stepped into a hardware store and one of the employees there said to him: “I heard you had been stealing up there...” And another individual said to me; “...has been buying a lot of real estate lately.” Thereby, believing the lie. It was a dea con who had been spreading the slander agairrst my employ ee. And he went on to spread slander against another employee and me. When my Lord was on trial, who were the first ones to yell “CRUCIFY HIM?” The chief priests. And so it is today, the rehgious world is leading the mob in per secuting the Lord’s people. My fiiends, get ready to die! ’There will be more persecution before my Lord comes. ARE YOU SAVED? IS CHRIST REAL 'TO YOUR HEART? If you have never left the religious world you are not saved. McCartney, former football coach at the University of Colorado, also sought to allay fears that his movement is exclu sionary telling feminists, homo sexuals, atheists and adherents of other religions: “We love you. You can trust us because we’re men of integrity. We’re not out to divide this nation, but we’re out to share the gospel message....TheyTl find being in the company of guys that keep their promises is healthy” At the same time, he reiterated the movement’s stand on homo sexuality - “The sin of homosexu ality cannot be excused” - and women: When it comes to deci sion-making at home, “somebody has to break the tie” and it’s the man who should “tenderly and gently” take authority. Although McCartney said he is a registered Republican, he stressed he sees no political agen da for his group. .,“1 find it fascinating Tm doing what Tm doing. I’m going to be obedient to the call of God on my life,” he said. But asked whether he would run for president if God said it was necessary to do so to fulfill his mission, McCartney said: “Absolutely. Fd be a fool not to.” William Bright, a speaker at the gathering from Orlando, Fla., told a reporter he expected “a revolu tion will take place in thousands of communities because of what happened” Saturday. But he noted that not aU of them will be able to keep the promises they made. ‘It’s fike an alcoholic who makes aU kinds of resolutions and then fads,” Bright said. “But the per centage of those who will go home different and will make a differ- Wnow A VI 1 0 3 0 P.O.
