Little A Lost Sinner Practically everywhere you turn in the religious world folks will tell you they are saved. But almost the same number know absolutely nothing about being a “lost sirmer” according to God’s Word. You think you are saved because you belong to a certain church, or your religious duties, or because you conform to certain teachings or doctrines. And when I or some other servant of the Lord questions your salvation, you get mad and have no more to say to me about the subject. That’s the concrete evidence you are not saved, and have never been awakened to the fact you are a lost sinner. And let me hasten to say: “the God-called teacher, or preacher, or deacon, places the greater emphasis on being lost.” He knows, as a man taught of the Lord (Isaiah 54:13), that unless you know what it means to be a lost sinner, you know nothing about Christ as your Lord and your Savior! When the Holy Spirit awakened me to my lost condi tion, I looked around me and made this statement: “no one aroimd me s saved, and Fve never been to the funeral of a saved per son.” Now that is just the truth the Spirit of God revealed to me. It was the most startling thing when the Holy Spirit awakened me to my lost condition and showed me that I had never believed in Christ. Have you ever been awakened to your lost condi tion? If not, YOU ARE NOT SAVED, BUB! I don’t care how many professions you have made. Luke 19:10 reads like this: “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” If you cannot go back to the time you took your place before God as a LOST SINNER you are not saved! Now, when were you lost? You may say you joined the church such and such a time, that is not what Fm talking about. WHEN WERE YOU LOST? You don’t know, do you? No, and for Life a journey for priest Continued from page 11A church’s supply priest, Johnson was named priest in October. She says she’s happy to be here. “Since 1983, it’s been an incred ible journey,” Johnson said. “Not my journey - but God’s journey.” Interested in going? St. Michael and AU Angels Episcopal Church is located at 4228 Hovis Road. Installation services will be held Nov. 21 at 7p.m. you to go like you are going, hav ing missed Holy Spirit Conviction (John 16: 7-11), and if you remain in your dead state, you will go to Hell without warning! The most awful thing in this world is to die and go out into eternity without Christ. And if you never are awakened to your lost condition under grace you’ll die and get the greatest shock of your life one minute after death! How is it with your soul, friend? I know you don’t want to face your lost condition, but you will face your lost condi tion here at a throne of mercy, or there at a throne of mercy or there at a throne of judgment. Which will it be? I know many will say: “Brother Little, don’t you know that God is not willing that any should perish?” My friends, almost every time I hear religious leaders say God is not willing that any should per ish, they leave out the key words in that Scripture.
