The Saddest Day In All The World - Part V
J.M. Little, Teacher
But there, at this Great White Throne Judgment before the all-righteous and holy God of
the Universe, you'll be on the same level with all those you despised. What a contrast!
There you'll see that your nature is the same as those you despised. During your earthly
life, all this was hidden from you because you were so proud. On earth, you never
sought the Lord. Like the rich man in Luke 12, you thought you had much goods laid up
for many years. You spoke ease and peace to your soul. Not knowing that a man’s life
does not consist in the abundance of things which he possesses. Here, John is telling
us that those who died lost, small and great, will be brought before God at the Great
White Throne to be judged. A deacon’s wfe said years ago: “God is not going to send
you to hell now and bring you back before Him to be judged.” She had not read her
Bible. John said in Vs. 13: “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man
according to their works." There you have it. You’ll die and go to hell now, but you’ll be
brought out of hell to answer before the God of the Universe at this last judgment. Deny
that all you please, modernist infidel. But you do so to the damnation of your souls! You
are not going to do away with this judgment because God has decreed it to judge you!
You may say you don’t care for the judgment. You won't be in this judgment one minute
before you change your mind! My friends, this will be the saddest day in all the world.
Just think of the billions of souls to be there to be judged, God is in no hurry. Dr.
Copeland said years ago that this judgment may last a thousand years.
