THIS IS A NEW REMEDY of surprising power; in
stantly relieving Neuralgia a speedy cure for Rheu
matism, Scalds, Burns, and relieving pains of eTery
kind. One of its most surprising effects, is its power cf
reducing Inflammation, and scattering Risings of every
kiad. It especially relieves females sufferingwith rising
breasts. j
When rubbed on the part affected, it is instantly ab
sorbed into the circulation, and seizes offending ob
structions and carries them out with the secretions where
hey may be detected in fifteen minutes after its applica
tion, j
The best way to apply it for scattering risings, is to
rub it on the part affected, with the fingers, and imme
diately cover the part 3 rubbed with soft paper wet in
warm water. I i

DR. KENNEDY, of Roxbury, has discovered in one
of our common pasture weeds x remedy that cures
EYERY KIND OF HUMOR; from the worst Scrofula
down to a common pimple.
He has tried it in ver 110$ cases, and never failed
except in tw cases, (both thunder humor.) He has
now in his possession over two hundred certificates U
its virtue, all within twenty miles of Boston.
Twd bottler are warranted to cure a nursing sore
mouth.
One to three bottles will cure the worst kind of Pim
ples on the face.
Two to three bottles will clear the iys'em of Biles.
Two bottles are warranted to cure the worst canker
in the mouth and stomach.
Three to five bottles ar warranted to eure the worst
case of Erysipelas.
One to two bottles are warranted to cure all humor
in the Eyes.
Two bottles are warranted to cure running of the ears
and blotches among the hair.
Four to six bottles are warranted t cure corrupt and
running ulcers.
One bottle will cure scaly eruption of the skin.
Two to three bottles are warranted to cure the wrst
case of ringworm.
Two to three bottles are warranted to cure the most
desperate case of rhumatism.
Three to four bottles are warranted to cure
the salt
rheum.
Five to eight bottles will cure the worst case of scro(-
ula.
A benefit is always experienced from the first bottle,
and a perfect cure in warranted when the above quan
tity is taken.
Reader, I peddled over a thousand bottles of this in
the vicinity of Boston. I know the effect of it in every
! case, bo sure as water wm extinguisn nre, so sure win
this cure humor. I never sold a bottle of it but that I sold
another : after a trial it always speaks for itself There
are two things about this herb that appears to me sur
prising ; first that it grows in our pastures, in some pla
ces quite plentiful, and yet its value has never been 1
known, until I discovered it in 1846 pecond, that it
should cure all kinds of humor.
In order to give some idea of the suddeu rise and great
popularity of the discovery, I will state that in April,
1853, I peddled it, and sold about six bottles per day
in April ISM, I sold over one thousand bottles per day
of it.
Some of the wholesale Druggists who have been in
business twenty and thirty years, say that nothing in
the annals of patent medicine was ever like it. There
is a universal praise of it from all quarters.
In my own practice I always kept it strictly for hu
mors but since its introduction as a general family
medicine, great and wonderful virtues have been found
in it that I never suspected.
Several cases ofepileptio fits a disease which was
alwajs considered incurable, have been cured by a few
bottles. O, what a mercy if it will prove effectual in all
cases of that awful malady there are but few who have
I seen more of it than I have.
f I know of several cases of Dropsy, all of them aged
I people cured by it. For the various diseases of the
Liver, Sick Headache, Dyspepsia, Asthma. Fever and
Ague, Pain in the side, Diseases of the Spine, aud par
ticularly in diseases of the Kidneys, &c, the discovery
has done more good than any medicine ever known.
No change of diet ever necessary eat the beat you
can get ana enough of it.
Directions for Use. Adults one table spoonful per
day Children over ten years desert ipoonful Chil
dren from five to eight years, tea spoonful. As no di
rections cau be applicable to all constitutions, take suf
ficient to operate on the bowels twice a day.

TO CONSUMERS OF PICKLES. -
BELIEVING that the Public have become tired of
purchasing Pickles in Packages, helding in many ;
cases, fifty per cent Jess than represented, we have com
menced putting up, in addition to our present second
size jar, an article which we are labeling 44 WM. UNDEB-i
WOOD & CO'S, EXTRA PICKLES," and are filling in
to full sized jars, which are legibly stamped in the glass,!
with their exact contents in ounces thus enabling the
consumer to verify their truth.
These Extra Pickles are put up with every regard to
style, quality and flavor, and will be sold at fairly remu
nerating prices.
We have made no change in our manner of Greeu
ing Pickles, never having resorted to any deleterious
means to attain this end. The Cider Vinegar which we
use is made from sound fruit, and is entirely 4ree from
I Vitriol or any other mineral acid, which is not the caie
with that used in most brands of English Pickles found
