With one township to hear from, the congress ional vote stands Williams 999, Doughton 919, the estimate of the en tire .county is 140 majority for Wil- 1 ains. Republican Cabarrus, Concorl, Nov. 8. Cabarrus is Re publican from 60 to 295 votes. Wil Williams in his home county defeats Doughton bv 218 votes. The whole Rapublicai: ticket is safe. Stanly Democratic. Returns received up to 9:15 o'clock tonight indicated a Republican victory in Illino's by a plurality estimated by Republicans at more than 100,000 for Hughes and slightly smaller for the Republican State ticket. At that hour the indicated plurality for Hughes in the State outside of Chicago was more than 100.000, wb'le Hughes was lead'ntr slightly on m- corrrolete Chicago returns.
