At the end of the fourth period last Thursday as several students decided to walk for a short while before lunch, they were suddenly stopped by unexpected strains of music. Where could the music be? They turned and looked in the dean’s office and there was no radio, box, or singer. A quick look around the drive proved that there wasn’t an automobile in the front with a radio. But soon a large and attractive group of students in the middle walk was discovered. There in the midst of the group, stationed on a convenient post was a radio, doing full duty. Rorie Copeland, on his way home with his radio which had been serving a purpose in the girls dormitory during the year, had suddenly conceived the bright idea of letting it make its farewell to the girls. The program from Petersburg, Va., was very appro priate as a farewell.
