Mr. Cadle stated that he and Mr. George Gibbs of Murfreesboro, president of the club, had set a goal of 200 members for this year. Members of the club are giv en free admission to all football, basketball, and baseball games which Chowan College athletic teams play at home. Dog's Life Postal authorities said a wo man complained the substitute mail carrier on her route was upsetting her dog. “The regular carriers gets a- long with the dog,” she ex plained angrily, “b u t every time the substitute makes the route it upsets my dog.” “Where is the dog now?” pos tal authorities asked her. “Oh, he’s under the mimosa tree in my yard,” she replied. “And where's the mail car rier?” “He’s up in the tree. It’s up setting my dog and making him bark.” Postal authorities disclosed no names. REV. JOHN C. Mrs. Van Cuthrell, wife of Murfreesboro High School’s new coach, will be Assistant Reg istrar and secretary to Dean Irv ing Brooks. Her college train ing was received at Guilford College. Also joining the staff as an adminstrative secretary was Miss Patsy Delany of Wood land. Miss Deiany attended Peace College, and is secretary to Miss Arelia Adams.
