Recreation Association Is Formed By SANDRA HARE The Women’s Recreation Asso ciation of Chowan College, newly organized this year under the direction of Mrs. Janet Collins, elected officers at its first meet ing of the school year. The offi cers are Janet Leonard, presi dent; Ann Jenkins, vice-presi dent; Carol Holt, secretary and treasurer; Sandra Hare, corres ponding secretary; Martha Hol land, intramural chairman; and Myrtle Hofler, special events chairman. Other members include Maggie Griffin and Sue Bunch of Dorm A; Pat Vanderford, Jean Wool dridge, and Donna Andrews of Dorm B; Mary Ann Burroughs of Annex; and Kathy Smith, re presenting the day students. Representing various activities sponsored by the W.R.A. are Susan Gregory, cheerleader; Joan Knight, interpretations; Becky Paulson, knitting; and Jad Ladd, majorette and drill team.
