1^65 The CHURCH stands in the heart of a community as a visible symbol and reminder to men of God and His relationship to us all. That, relationship is established through God’s over-flowing GOODNESS to which all persons are called to respond in THANKFULNESS. The Christian has known the bounty of God in the forgiveness of his sin, the new life of peace and abundance, the beauty and constancy of the gifts of nature, and the warmth and support of persons to love. A national time of THANKSGIVING calls every man to a special worship of God in deepened gratitude and praise. Let young and old alike say and sincerely mean: “Now thank we all our God with heart and hands and voices, Who from our mothers arms, hath blessed us on our way Who wondrous things hath done, in whom His world rejoices; With countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.” —Martin Rinkard OIl|omantatt NOVEMBER, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE
