Economics

“Economics — Why Take It?”
was the topic of John Stanley
Virkler’s address for the Facul-
ty/Fonun Lyceum program in ear
ly February.
“My speech answered why
students should take economics
and why schools should teach
economics,” noted Dr. Virkler.
“Economics is practical for daily
life. What you learn might help you
to become a millionaire. Even if
you don’t, it’s worthwhile to take it.
Economics will help you to unders
tand the world, the news, and even
the presidential campaigns. ”
