Shortess, of New York, vice-president and treas urer of the company, which is an incoi poration, resigned, having sold bis interest to Mr. M. B. Wyatt, of this city. Mr. Wyatt was elected to Hll bis place. Mr. O. F. Adams, the president and manager, still retains his place, and with Mr. Wyatt will manage tbe business, which will be run witb energy, and pushed for all it is worth. The plant is now equipped with the latest improved machinery and is already doing a large and lucra tive business one of the most suc ceecful industries ot our city.
