Stratford News A large crowd attended the .funeral of Mrs., Martha Absher which was held at Antioch church last Saturday. Elders Caudill, -Kilby and Hall were in charge of the services, after which the burial was in the family grave yard at the J. E. Irwin old home place, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Estep. ■Winston-Salem, visited his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Estep Sunday evening. Miss Dorothy Joines has been quite ill for several days with measles. Eisenhower has been released by the War Department: “During the current Red Cross Fund Campaign vast numbers of patriotic Americans have respond ed generously to the cause.
