The catches were made on the eastern side of the Cape. VISITING YACHTS Several yachts have passed j through Southport in the past | week and some spent several [ days here while their owners and friends enjoyed the scenery of the old town. UNUSUAL RECORD So far this month there has been no diciplinary case at the j local CCC camp. Yaskell, Mr. Taylor and others have been enjoying night fishing for trout and striped bass from the state draw bridge over the Inland waterway. They report good catches. NEW BUSINESS Mr. and Mrs. Coleman, opera- j itors of Caswell Beach Casino for the past several seasons, will soon be ready for business in their I new dance, beer and lunch place in the old Northrop store on 1 Moore Street. LEAVES FOR CHARLESTON Capt. Vick and his good ship; Palmetto, having finished his work on the beacons in the canal, left Monday for Charleston, S. C. Capt. Vick has been here for a month or two and is well known in town. FISHING TRIP Rev. and Mrs. A. H. Marshall were hosts to several friends last Thursday afternoon and night on a fishing trip to the Black Fish Rock. They succeeded in bring- j ing home two hundred and sixtyI five trout.
