Streamers in Gypsy colors festooned the table, with bunches of balloons at intervals. The tables were beautifully decorated with jonquils in bunches and in rows. As a center the flowers were arranged in the initials S H. S. The tables were lighted by candles. Six freshmen, boys and girts, dressed in Gypsy costumes, waited on the tables. .Mrs. E H. Cranmer gave the invocation, which was followed by greetings from the junior class president, in a welcome speech to tiro seniors. Robert Marlowe, president of the senior class, gave the response. Miss Frances Uellamy offered a toast to the faculty, with response by Principal C. A. Ledford. James McKeithan gave a toast to the county superintendent and school committee which was answered by Miss Annie M. Woodside Mrs. v" Ed Taylor responded to a toast given by Elliott Moore to the grade mothers. Miss l.ouisc Niernsec gave a toast to the seniors. After dinner jokes closed the pro .mam, alter which fortunes were tout. Instrumental numbers included "Gypsy Love Sons'," by Gypsy chorus: "The Gypsy King," IV. C. Ledford, accompanied by Miss Mae I.clford; dances, by Gypsy peasant group, accompanied by Miss Mary Alice Lewis: "In A Little Gypsy Tea Room." by Miss Lelia Hubbard. A fruit cocktail started off a three course dinner which ended with a dessert of ice cream and cake. Considerable credit is due to Miss Taylor for her leadership: to Mesdames K. M. Niernsee, G. P.
