Ruark left Sunday for Raleigh where she will visit Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ruark before continuing to Asheville where she will attend the graduation exercises of her neice, Miss Eva Armstrong. Mrs. Thomas St. George, of Greensboro, spent the past weekend here with Miss Marion St. George. With her were Mrs. Julia Boaze and Miss Blanche Whirlo, also of Greensboro. Miss Winnie Willis spent the past week-end in Morehead City with Mrs. Pete Midgett. Julian Southerland, of the TJ. S. E. Dredge Chinook, of Norfolk, spent the past Week-end here with hit mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Southerland. Mrs. W. D. Davis, of Detroit, Mich., is a visitor in Southport where she was called because of the death of her neice, Miss Jeanette Cranmer. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Cranmer, Jr., of Shreveport, La., are in Southport where they were called to attend the funeral of the former's sister.
