WITH ROW-AKERMAN WEDDING SOLEMNIZED IN AUGUSTA, GEORGIA Of interest to friends here was the wedding in Reid Memorial Presbyterian church, Augusta, Ga. Tuesday morning June 7 at 11 o'clock, when Miss Elizabeth Akerman, daughter of Dr. and j Mrs. Joseph Akerman, former resident of Wilmington, became the bride of the Reverend John David Withrow, of Leland. The day also marked the 32nd wedding anniversary of Dr. and Mrs. Akerman, The church was simply but artistically decorated with baskets of Shaster daisies, palms and seven branched candelabra. Mrs. j James B. Bartch played the nup-j tial music at the organ and Mr. i Bartch sang. Reverend Samuel W. Rom r> r> ..?1? ' ?V,V4> *-' sicai uunc ui uic bride, performed the ceremony, using the ring service. Ushers were: T. Shepard Clark, James H. Butler and Ben and Joe Akerman, brothers of the bride. Miss Laura Akerman, sister of the bride was maid of honor. She wore dusty rose lace with brown accessories and her flowers were a nosegay of Talisman roses and daisies with streamers in burnt orange tones. Aubrey Withrow, of Arlington, Va., was his brother's best man. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore .a becoming dress of navy embroidered marquisette with lapels of flesh color and her hat was a small model in navy with a nose length veil. All accessories were in navy.
