THE MONTH I LIKE BEST The month I like is December. [ can go to school and play with my school mates, that I miss so much in the summer. Best of all Christmas comes, which I think is the best time of the year. Barbara Simmons, 3rd grade. THE MONTH I LIKE BEST I like July, because it is a THE STATE PORT 1 month for many sports. Instead of holding the full yearly meeting at Morehead City, where they are required by law to meet and give 'ishermen and others a hearing, they will meet in Morehead City for only one day and then come to Southport to hold the balance of the session here. Writing the Chamber of Commerce this past week, J. L. Home, - Jr., of Rocky Mount, chairman of the board and head of the state advertising program, stated he was hoping that this meeting would give the members of the board an opportunity to know the citizens of this part of the state better. At a meeting of the directors of the Conservation Board in Raleigh last week, the Brunswick county folders were used in connection with the report of the Advertising Division. Mr. Home stated that all members of the board agreed that the printing ind distribution of this work was in ambitious and progressive program for a. county of only ibout 17,000 population. The follers were considered an effective tie-in with the State Advertising voi'k. TtHo-Vit nitv flnv "Arul Hnps /our nice little cow give milk?" Farmer's son: "Well, not exictly.
