Miss Norfleet gave demonstrations on saving food for the store and also distributed the September Garden notes. The hostesses served iced drinks and cakes. Regret was expressed that one of the club members, Mis. Homer H .lden, was ill and unable to attend the meeting. The president of the Club. Mrs. Bill Kopp, and M'ss Norfleet, accompanied by Mrs. Odcll Evans, attended the State District Meeting held in Raleigh last week. This year it was noted that all of the 100 counties in the State were engaged in club work. Of these 87 were represented at the Raleigh meeting.
