Jewell Hewett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Hewett of Shallotte,' is now stationed at Stark General hospital, Charleston, S. C. She enlisted in the WAC in June of last year and was given training at Fort Oglethorpe,' Ga. Finishing there, she sent to Charleston where she has since been with a WAC Detachment. Cape Fear Pilots Build New Office Most of the steel work on the new 80 foot tower and lookout for the Cape Fear Pilots Association in Southport has been completed. The lookout room is now being built. The office build- j ing will be of wood and located directly in front of the tower, the' office being on the top floor and access to the tower being through a doorway of this office.
