Mrs. Bragaw wore a dress of pink raw silk with sweetheart neckline and peplum. She carried a bouquet of pink and white camellias. The bridegroom had as his best man William Bragaw. The ushers were Frank Niernsee, Jr., brother of the bride, and Kenneth Sprunt. cousin of the bride. Mrs. Frank Niernsee, Sr., the bride's mother, wore a dark blue suit with dark blue accessories and a shoulder bouquet of pink camellias. The groom's mother, Mis. Noia Godfrey, wore black with matching accessories and a shoulder bouquet of red camellias. Immediately after the cere mony the wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride for the wedding party and out of town guests. The home was ar ranged with mixed spring flowers, camellias predominating. Later in the morning the couple left for a trip South, after which they will be at home in South port. For traveling the bride wore a dark blue suit with blue accessories and a shoulder bouquet of white camellias and violets. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Niernsee of Southport. She attended South port High school and was grad uated from Johns Hopkins Hos pital. and was then employed there for several years. She wa3 head nurse there when she was commissioned a Lieutenant in the Army Nurses Corps. Sne served years overseas and returned a Captain. The gioom is the son of Walter Baird Godfrey and the late Emma : Williamson Godfrey, of Blooms NT. J. Following academic work at Maryville college, from which he was graduated with an A. B? he took graduate work at Nor:li Carolina State College and re ceived an M. S. degree. Later he received an M. A. from Harvard following further graduate work at that institution. Me was con nected with Orton Gardens for | sometime before he became a Lieutenant. Sr. Grade, in the Naval Reserve in 1941. and upon his return to civilian life in Dec ember, 1945, he resumed his work at Orton. Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Cean Godfrey, Mrs. Nora Godfrey, of Eastern, N. J.; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bragaw, of Chapel Hill; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Niernsee, of Memphis, Tennesses; Dr. and Mrs. I. Wells, from State College, Raleigh; Mrs. Joseph McCotter, Mrs. Wm. Crawford, of Washington; Peter Brown Ruffin, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lawrence Spiunt, Bernidene Foyl, of Wilmington; Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Ferger, of Orton Plantation, Mr. and Mis. J. M. Garrison, of Charleston. Mr. and Mrs. William Bragaw entertained on Friday evening, March I, honoring Miss Eleanor Sprunt Niernsee and Robert Ken neth Godfrey whose wedding was solemnized on March 2. About 30 guests were present at the home of Mrs. Bragaw's mother, Mrs. Helen Bragaw, immediately following the wedding rehearsal at St. Phillips Church, and those present were members of the wed ding party and out of town guests. The house was beautiful with ! mixed flowers and candles. In the center of an exquisitely decorated table was a three-tiered white wedding cake which was cut by the bride.
