Let's All Cooperate With Our President ?IN' To SAVE The PEACE! President Truman Mr. Truman has appealed to every family in America to save food to help save the peace of the world. Our farmers, when called upon during the war, produced heavily through hard work, in order to win the war. Now they and all Americans are called upon to conserve foods, meats and grains, to help save the peace that they and their sons fought for so valiently. We ask you to join Mr. Truman's Citizens Food Committee and help avert the crisis of hunger in Europe. The need is desperate and the time is short. Each family in Brunswick County can and will do its part in this extreme emergency. Here How You Can A lot of people do not know that we are prepared to cure meat, in addition to taking care of it in the best possible manner. ? i . You do not have to wait until cold weather to kill your hogs. Kill them now, if they are ready for killing. When they have been dressed and hung for the proper length of time bring them to us and we will cure the meat to suit your taste. While the carcasses are hung in our chilling room or packed in our cold storage room you will have no worry over the possibility of poorly cured or kept meats. We are also prepared to cut up and quick-freeze your beef and all other meats. All this at very low cost, cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you do not have a food locker with us ? By all means With one of our modern food lockers you will have room to keep your poultry and beef as well as fruits and vegetables that will help to feed your family during the winter. It is much easier to preserve fruits and vegetables in your freezer locker than any other way. Ask us for details.
