Boon's Neck Club Meeting Is Held The Boon's Neck Home Demon stration club in Lockwoods Folly township held its June meeting, with Mrs. Boyd Lott serving as hostess. The meeting was opened j by singing, "Hail Club Women, | Crowned Through Service." The' Collect of the Club Women of America was also repeated. The minutes were read and ap proved. Mrs. Everett Hewett gave an Interesting talk on poultry. Miss Grinne gave a demonstrat ion on how to cook a meal. Present for the meeting were Mrs. Lee Clemmons, Mrs. B. L. Bullock, Mrs. Everette Hewett, Mrs. Sommers Roach, Mrs. W. E. Bellamy, Mrs. Boyd Lott and Mrs. Greene. Before adjornment t)ie hostess served refreshments. The club will. meet again on July 8 with Mrs. W. E. Bellanmy as hostess. Mrs. Walton Is Hostess To Club The Friendship Home Demonstr ation Club met lkst Tuesday at the home of Mrs. A. J. Walton, Sr. Miss Codinne Greene gave an interesting demonstration on how to make raw salads. The Club had as its guest, Miss Willie Hunter, specialist in cloth ing from Raleigh. The members present were Mrs. W. E. Stana land, Mrs. Nelson Bennett and Mrs. Obbie Long. The hostess served jello, Seed tea and cake. Mrs. Smith Is Club Hostess The Cape Fear Home Demon stration club held its regular mee-t ing on May 26th with Mrs. Her man Smith as hostess. Mrs. Joe Kamsauer, president of the club, called the meeting to order and had the Collect re peated in Unison. The business was the discussion of the flower show to be held at Bolivia this week. Mrs. John Ramsauer gave help ful garden notes and a letter was read from the Welfare Depart ment, relative to a meeting at Bolivia. A special project for the club was discussed and adopted. Miss Greene gave an interesting demonstration on dress finishing The June meeting of the club will be held with Mrs. Henry Smith. PERSONALS Mrs. Frank M. Niernsee has re turned home from spending a month in Memphis, Tenn., with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Niernsee, Jr. Calvin Watson has returned to his home in Goldsboro after spend ing a week here with Franto Mol lycheck. Mrs. Sam Grist, Jr., and little son, Sam Grist, III, are here form Chapel Hill, spending the week j [with Mrs. Helen Bragaw. Mrs. Alex For and little daugh ter, Mary Elizabeth, of Lexing ton, are spending some time here with Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Loughlin, parents of Mrs. Fox. Mr. and Mrs. James O'Hanlon of St. Petersburg, Fla., have been spending ten days here with re latives and friends. Mrs. Grace and Mrs. Lou H. Smith spent the week-end in Greenville.
