The Pirate By: The Three Buccaneers (Kat, Jan and Peg.)] Test' Test* Test' Is there no end to them? This has been the cry of the student body the whole week. With next week ehding the first six-weeks period and re ports going out, everything has been trying to make their last weeks the best and make the whole period grades higher by passing the six weeks test. Rumors are- flying: We are hoping to have plenty of water at the school in the next few days. There has been trouble with the water system at the school for years now and we are hoping to help this condition. All the rooms from the prim ary to the high school are look ing very attractive. Four of these rooms are Mrs. Katie Whites, Miss Galloway's, Miss Hewett's and Mrs. Stone's. Although they are small, the first grades really keep their rooms looking clean. Although it was raining Friday afternoon the football between Shallotte and Southport brought out many spirited fans. Shallotte kicked off to Southport and the ball was bought back to South port's own 30-yard line. South port kept rushing down the field until the first big thrill for the Southport eleven. After the visi tors made their first touchdown the game from then on was the most exciting of the season. At the, half Southport was leading 12 to 0. During the second half the Shallotte Pirates really fought and changed the score. At the end of the game the score was 13 to 12 in favor of Shallotte.
