A quar tet of boys from Mrs. Mc'Keith an’s eleventh grade won first prize in high school; while Mrs. Russ’ seniors captured the second prize with a solo by Geraldine Cox. These programs have been put on to raise money for the gym dressing rooms. Besides these there have been cake walks the whole week. Friday there was a movie star ring Joe E. Brown. We sure would iike to extend our congratulations to the three boys in Brunswick who were chosen to be on the Star-News Dream Team. We were also very glad to hear that our neighboring schools who entered the tourna ment did very well. Monday night at the Legion Hut the Brunswick county at tendant for the Azalea princess was chosen. As you probably have already heard it was Evelyn Evans of Leland. Second placp went to Gloria Hewett of South port and third place went to Marie Fulford of Shallotte. We sure wish the unwelcomed visitor who is coming in the gymnasium and lunch room at night would be a little bit more decent and ask if there is any thing he wants instead of taking it. We’re sure that if he would stop to realize what he is doing he would stop immediately. Friday the Block “S” club members drank the rest of the cokes which were left over from the tournament.
