Mr. Price, father of the bride, officiated at the ceremony. The young couple have apart ments at the home of Mr. Ruth Walker. Both are graduates of the Southport high school. CANASTA BRIDGE PARTY The Southport Woman's Club sponsored a bridge and canasta party at the Community Building in Southport Thursday evening, with proceeds to go toward the expense of the mass tuberculosis survey which is to be conducted during the month of August. In the absence of the president the meeting was called to order by the vice-president, Mrs. Alden Potter. Following the opening exercises Miss Josie Reid made the roll call and gave the financial re port. The clothing, poultry and garden leaders made their re ports. Mrs. J. E. Swain gave some health notes. Ten members were present, Mrs. Alden Potter, Mrs. E. W. Taylor, Miss K. M. Johnson, Mrs. H. Wolf, Mrs. J. E. Swain, Mrs. G. T. Reid, Miss Bertha Reid, Miss Josie Reid, Mrs. Christinia Pot ter, Mrs. Edith Willetts. One new” member, Mrs. Inez Clark, joined at this meeting and Mrs. Young was present as a visitor.
