Rural Electrification is a brilliant example of neighbors
working with neighbors toward the common good . . .
co-operation!
Soon, our country will reach 200 million population. The
food market is rapidly increasing and the farmer's con
sumption of electric power can easily double in a few
years . . .
Rural Electric Systems stand ready to meet the challenge
of the future. They have saved hours and lives on the
farms . . . saved farms for America's needs . . . and
they return to their banker, the REA, every dollar loaned
— with interest! . . .
