J. H. Watkins, 77, of Rocky Point
were held at the family cemetery
near the Riley’s Creek community
Sunday at 3 p. m. by the Rev.
IC. B. Brown.
He died at the home of a daugh
ter, Mrs. Earl Gurganious of Wil
mington on Dec. 22 after an ill
ness of several months.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Donnie Pickett Watkins; five sons,
L. H. and Roosevelt Watkins, both
of Wilmington; Daniel Watkins,
Rocky Point, Norwood Watkins,
eland, John Thomas Watkins of

burial in the church cemetery.

a member, with burial at Mont

WILLIAM M KING
William McKinley King, 58, well
-known retired farmer of Bolivia,
died Monday afternoon at Dosher
Memorial Hospital, Southport.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Veda L. King of the home; three
sons, James E. and Harold D.
King, both of the US Air Force;
a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Fullford
of Holden's Beach; two sister,
Mrs. Hardy King of Bolton and
Mrs. W. Ol Inman of Ocean
Drive Beach, S. C.; a half-brother,
Tames R. King of Hallsboro; and
four grandchildren.
