Htrrrah! Mid-term exams are
over. The question now is, who
passed ?
Mrs. Greene, advisor of the
Velentine court, met with the at
tendants last week to discuss
what they should wear to the
Valentine dance. The court is as
follows: Queen, Dora Hewett;
maid of honor, Linda Mintz; at
tendants: 12th grade—Gracie Rob
erts, Dora Milliken, Ann Robin
son, Toy Hewett. 11th grade—
Barbara Hewett, Cheryl Grissett,
Crystal Evans, Betty Norris, Jean
Benton. 10th grade—Linda Wood
ard, Bonnie Price, Linda Clem
mons, 9th grade—Brenda Norris,
Brenda Tripp, Olivia White, Elaine
Clemmons, Joan Beck. The prin
cess was elected from the entire
8th grade and the lucky girl is
Flora McDonald. Congratulations!
The junior class is in charge of
this dance. They haven't set the
date yet, but are working hard
to make this a dance that will
long be remembered.
The Student Council is working
on a constitution for the student
body. This constitution will be
read and voted on at assembly
meeting Friday.
A new store awaited us as
school started last year. It’s feel
