Gainey, Jr,, prosecuting the docket: Leroy Shaw, non support, guilty, pay $15 this date and $15 per week for 10 weeks and then pay $10 per week thereafter. Martin Mintz, drunk driving, after revocation, no insurance, improper registration nol pros. Robert Farmer, speeding 70 in 60 zone, waived appearance, pleaded guilty, fined $9.55 and cost. Charles H. Hutto, speeding 75 in 60 zone, fined $15 and cost. J. B. Helms, blocking channel, nol pros. Sadie Evans, four charges of giving worthless check, make restitution and pay cost. Fred Stubbs, reckless opera tion, fined $25 and cost. Hoyal Varnam, drunk driving, guilty of reckless operation, fined $50 and cost. Henry Richardson, Sr. aiding abetting and allowing driving with no operators license, fined $25 and cost. Henry Richardson, Jr., no operators license, improper equipment, improper brakes, waived appearance, pleaded guilty, fined $25 and cost. John C. Bass, failure to see if movement could be made in safety, not guilty. John W. Bellamy, making un safe movement with motor ve hicle, fined $10 and cost. Charles Carter, giving worth less check, mike restitution and pay cost. Dan E. Davis, Jr., driving too fast for conditions fined $10 and cost. Earl Davis, failure to yield right of way, guilty pay cost. Alfred Delts, no operators li cense, fined $25 and cost. Bernard Denkins, following too closely, nol pros. Henry Everett, improper reg istration, failure to transfer title, fined $10 and cost. Harry Grissett, no chauffeurs license, pay cost, has license. Douglas Harris, speeding 75 in 60 zone, fined $15 and cost. Ruth Hill, stop sign violation, pay cost. Wanda B. Hohnshehu, speed ing 70 in 60 zone, fined $10 and cost. Eugene Hollis, speeding 65 In 55 zone, prayer for judgement. Charles Hutto, larceny, plead ed guilty to temporary larceny, 6 months on road make restitution for $395 and pay cost, placed on probation for 2 years, to stay In jail until restitution and cost paid on or before Friday, Jan uary 28. Thaddus Johnson, expired op erators license, fined $10 and cost. Joseph Medlina, Jr. speeding 70 in 60 zone, fined $10 and cost. J. E. Morgan, speeding 60 in 50 zone, fined $10 and cost. Gainey of Leland, has been selected for training at Keesler AFB, Miss., as an Air Force com munications electronics specialist. The airman, a 1965 graduate of New Hanover High School, Wilmington, recently completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex. His father, Alonzo H. Gainey, Sr., resides in Wilmington. 55 zone, fined $10 and cost. William Ratley, non support; the defendant ordered to be im prisoned for a term of 12 months, suspended on condition he pay $25 per week for support of his child and $25 per week thereafter to Clerk Superior Court, cost remitted. Elmore Sandlin, possession of tax paid whiskey with seal broken, fined $10 and cost. Ronald Sullivan, speeding 60 in 45 zone, fined $15 and cost. James R. Waikins, speeding 70 in 60 zone, fined $10 and cost. Jefferson Wells, vagrancy, nol pros. Milton Gore, making unsafe movement with motor vehicle and improper registration, fined $10 and cost. G. A. Atkinson WiNNABOW — C. A. (Bruce) Atkinson, 90, died Thursday afternoon at the home of a daugh ter, Mrs. Floyd Hickman, with whom he lived. He was a native of Bolivia, the son of the late John W. and Ann Arnold Atkin son. Final rites were held Sat urday at 2 p. m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. W. C. Francies, with burial in Willetts Cemetery. Survivors include three other daughters, Mrs. Mae M'jore and Mrs. Delmas Willetts of winna bow and Mrs. Jack Caton of Bo livia; a son, Andrew Lee Atkin son of Norfolk, Va.; 17 grand children and 27 great-grandchil dren. Mrs. Hattie Sellers Mrs. Hattie Sellers, 89, of Sup ply, died Tuesday in the Dozier Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p. m. Thursday at Supply Bap tist Church, by the Rev. Orvil Crawford. Burial will follow in Galloway Cemetery. She is survived by one sis ter, Mrs. Kattie Cumbee of Sup olv. and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be from the Men’s Bible Class of the ihurch. Visitation will be at Kil jatrick’s Funeral Home in South port until noon Thursday. Look we aren't kidding.
