For County Commissioner For ,|i SMITHVILLE TOWNSHIP During any Political campaign you can hear many rumors. Today is the last County paper before the election and I would like to give you some facts. In the last two years the County has welcomed Highlander, Dupont and Carolina Power and Light Company to this County. The County has aided all the ex isting fire departments plus two new ones at Holden Beach and Yaupon Beach. We have started a concentrated effort to collect back taxes, it is paying off. We have given an ad ditional $22,500 to the Board of Education without raising county taxes. We have est ablished a county hospital committee, which is only waiting for the freeze on Federal funds to be lifted before they act. We are on the move in Brunswick and these are just a few of the facts in this movement. I have played a part in these things.I would like for you to vote for me so I can continue to work for this County. Your vote and support for me, John L. Barbee for County Commission er is appreciated. JOHN L.
