From Allen N. Mosby of Raleigh, we received a recipe that you might like. It just might work at your house. SCRIPTURE CAKE 4V4 c. I Kings 4:22 (flour) 1 c. Judges 5:25 each (milk and butter) 2 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (cane syrup) 2 tbsp. I Samuel 14:25 (honey) 2 c. Nahum 3:12 (figs) 2 c. Numbers 17:8 (almonds) 2 tsp. Amos 4:5 (baking powder) 2 tsp. I Corinthians 5:6 (soda) 2 tsp. Leviticus 2:13 (salt) 6 Jerimiah 17:11 (eggs) Season to taste with 2 Chronicles 9:9 (spices). I mixed it like any fruit cake, lined the pans with foil, and baked it in a moderate oven one hour or til done. The cake was delicious because I followed the recipe. The Bible is the same way. A friend may give you one, you may read it, and think what it says seems logical or illogical, but you will never know how good it is for your life unless you try the recipe. —Theda M. Eckman.
