Hello there! Here it is the middle of June, and soon the month will be all gone and then so goes the time. Where does it go so fast? It seems just a few days since June 1. And you know this is Dairy Month, when we should favor all the milk products in our grocery shopping and diets for the family. We used to have a dairy princess for the county, but that is long past. We have about five dairy farmers left, but they produce enough milk for most of us. I think it would be fun and educational to again have a Dairy Princess Contest, don’t you? Maybe the Extension Home Economist could help on this one. We’ve had several folks mention it to us during the past two or three weeks. Think about it. Practice drinking your correct amount of milk. Use dairy products in your cooking in many, many ways. If you would like some more advise, call Mrs. Mary Russ, Brunswick Home Economics Extension agent, at 754-4446, and I feel sure she will help you. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hewett and children Rita, Keith, and Wendy of Savannah, Ga., are here with the Vance L. Hewetts and the Elbert S. Clemmons family this week.
