Wedding reports
The State Port Pilot has adopted new guidelines for the
publication of wedding reports, editor Ed Hatper announced
this week.
’’The newspaper has never charged for the publication of
wedding stories or wedding photos and will continue to offer
the service free of charge," Harper said. "But such reports will
be subject to stricter editing to emphasize the local relevance of
the event."
Harper said this means someportions of a wedding report will
no longer be included in articles published free. Those who
want to assure that a complete wedding report is printed will be
offered the opportunity to purchase space on a per-ineh basis.
The editor also addressed the matter of outdated wedding
reports.
"In order for a wedding report to be considered for free
publication it must be submitted to the newspaper no more than
21 days after the event,'' Harper said. Those not meeting this
deadline will be offered the opportunity to purchase space for
the publication of an edited or complete report, whichever they
choose."

is SI.
An "extremely affectionate" female Siamese cat is also up for adoption.
She is said to be very pretty and would make a good pet. The adoption fee
