Nothing defines the local fall more certainly than a good run of
spots, and this year the run has been exciting, rewarding and deli
cious. From the Lockwood Folly point to the west bend of the
Cape Fear, all along the shore and everywhere on the piers, yellowbellies
the size of a shoe have been pleasing fishermen new and old.
