Baptists host special service October 25-28 Revival/Renewal services will be led by the Rev. Tom Stocks at Southport Baptist Church October 25-28. Stocks has served as a pastor and missionary journeyman of the roreign Mision Board of the Southern Bap tist Convention in St. Lucia, West Indies. He is currently pas tor of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church, Roa noke, VA. Plans include STOCKS special music beginning 15 minutes before each evening service. Ser vices will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and each night Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Fall Festival is scheduled The annual Fall Festival at First Baptist Church of Boiling Spring Lakes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 31. The festival will include bingo, bobbing for apples, a sunflower seed-spitting contest, bozo game, football throw, fishing booth and other activities. Also hot dogs, chips, drinks and desserts will be served until 7 p.m. There is no admission charge. Church hosts ‘Fall Review’ Trinity United Methodist Women will host a Fall Review fund-raiser from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov ember 6 at the church in Southport. There will be a luncheon and a dinner, a kitchen gourmet shop and a cookie walk, with cookies sold by the pound. Take-out and deliveries of lunch and dinner will be available locally. ‘Hallelujah Night’ planned at church Hallelujah Night at Full Gospel House of Prayer, 3127 George II Highway, Boiling Spring Lakes, will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, October 31. • Participants are invited to come dressed as Bible characters, and the most creative costumes will win a prize.
