When. asked if she was ready, she said she didn't see anything in the way. She said she had spent the greater part or the past year in prayer and felt that her pray ers had been answered. She said many times, "Oh, I want to go home," and her constant prayeT was, Lord, take me" and "Lord, have mercy on me." ' Her family and all who knew her have the blessed assurance that all is well. Wicker a brother of Rev. J. Mclver Wicker, former pastor of the Asheboro Presbyterian church, died recently in a Raleigh hospital, aged 58.
