Several witnesses told of fol lowing the tracks .to ' the home ( ot Skeen some miles away,' and finding the car In his yard, near the end of the house and that Skeen came out within two minutes 'after being- called, fully clad, shoes laced, wearing a raincoat and with evidence of having himself been m the rain.' The defense al so sought to show by tracks the next morning that someone bad left the car at 8 keen's and had run. It was also contended by the defense that it was a misty night and that the window glasses were cloudy and that Mrs. Etewart was mistaken la saying that it was fflcm.
