Hall, living near Smithficld, raised an ear of corn with six different colored kernels on it. The kernels are reu, white, blue, grey, pink and yellow. Some time ago Professor WooUDurn, of Chicago, raised an ear with red, white, and blue kernels on the same ear. This was after three years of ex perimenting. NOTICE An election having been held on Tuesday the 28th day of June, 1921, in the Asheboro Graded School District in Randolph County, State of North Carolina, upon the question of issuing not exceeding Sixty Thousand Dol lars of serial bonds of said Asheboro Graded Cchool District in Randolph County, State of North Carolina, and levying sufficient annual tax to pay the same with interest, whereat there were two hundred thirty-four qualified voters of whom two hundred eleven voted "for bond and tax," and none voted "against bond and tax," as has been judicially determined and declar ed to be the result of said election by the Board of Commissioners, of the Town of Asheboro, N.
