Zukor, taking advantage of the plight of starving peasants, induced the parents to give him their children, especially girls. He promised homes for the unfortun ate children where they would be clothed and well fed. When some of the parents suddenly appeared at the home of Zukor to see their children they were informed that the families to which the girls had been assigned had moved to other parts of the country. One mother of a little ten year old girl saw some of her ehfld's wearing apparel Hanging in aojcors room and immediately demanded po lice authorities to make a search- of the premises. The bodies of eighteen girls were found in one room. lhe remains of seven boys were found in the garden. A preliminary hear ing developed that Zukor had murder ed forty children since last June. The girls had first been outraged. In some things we must be satisfied with promises, but where money is involved NOTHING SHORT OF PROOF IS ENOUGH, Imagine paying for a promise the same amount of money that will buy the proof ! Think of buying a "bond secured by first-mortgage's on income-earning properties, but with only the promise of safety, as against a 6 per cent First Mortgage Real Estate Bond with every dollar of principal and interest guaranteed to maturity! A Promise means the Hope of Safety. A Guarantee means the knowledge of safety. That's what you get in our Guaranteed 6 per cent First Mort gage Real Estate Bonds, which we have for sale in de nominations of $100 and up. Card of Thanks. I wish to thank Dr. and Mrs. Wil kerson and the nurses in the Randle man hospital for their kindness to me while I was a patient ther. May God bless each one of them. ANNA MAY BEANE.
