Gets Two Years
The negro who handed the “mash”
note to a young white woman clerk in
a store at Lexington last week was
tried and sentenced to two years on
the roads for the offence. He took
an appeal to the Superior court and
is now in jail having been unable to
furnish bond for his liberty.
