Some improvement New York and Pennsylvania, and a mar ket decline in Missouri, and minor chan ges of states elsewhere, making the aver age 73.03, against 73.01 in May. The loss by the overflow of the Mississippi river, in Illinois, offsets in part the im provement in other countries. In Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Kansas the aver age condition is nearly the same as ; in The area of cotton appears to have in creased in every state except Florida. The increase is larger west of the Missis sippi, as usual.
