We hope that the News will be able to keep up the high stand ard established for it by Mr. Miner and that when he returns, well and harty, he will find his business in as good shape as when he left it. We will state, however, that there are few men, if any, who know the printing and newspaper business as thoroughly as he. He is the best all-around printer and publisher in North- Carolina. We feel that we are ^pressing the wishes of his many friends when we hope that he will be benefitted by his hospit al treatment and will soon return sound in body and rested in mind.
