The little 9 vear old son of Mr. and Mrs, F. A. Parker of Averasboio, died Tuesda3 after a several days severe sickness. He was buried yes terday, Rev. Mr. Simmons conduct ed the services. The Times extends its sympathy to the sad family. On Aug the 25th. there' will be a an altercation with E. C. Fuller on tue streets in Fayetteville on Friday the 11th at about 1 o'chnik p. m, Mr. Fuller is a member of a good family of that city, and was a clerk in an Insurance oilice there. Mr Parker was a youug man of good business qualities and was in the clothing business in JFayetteville. 'He was a native of this county, hav ing lived at Averasboro until several years ago he vreut to that town. He is highly connected in the county, and many friends and relatives who received the unexpected sad news with deep regret. The difference arose over a misunderstanding about some young ladies -which both young men visited. The affray took place m front of Mrs. H. L. Cook's re& dence, by Mr. Parker was found a pair of knucks which is upposed to have been used in the fight. After Mr. Parker was shot. Fuller "went to- Kings Drug store and dressed his face, and then went and gave himself up to the sheriff and told the circum stances, and claims that he had to shoot in defence. The whole affair was an unoxpeeted tragedy and much regreted by all good people. Messrs, W. T. Dupree, K, L. and F. A. Par ker went idowu Friday night, and brought the corpse here Saturday morning, but afterwards decided to let him be buried in Fayetteville, so his remains were taken back, and Sunday layed to rest in the Cemerery there.
